Asher's first soccer game was Saturday. It was hilarious. Austin and I were laughing the entire time. Asher was pushing all of the kids to get to the ball. They scored in their own goal and all of them were swimming in their uniforms. Asher had a great time. He talked about it non stop the remainder of the day. Guess who is teething? Baby Wyatt's first tooth is trying to make an appearance. Poor boy. Thank goodness for baby orajel.
Looking through my phone, I found some awesome videos that I never posted. This video is just too darn cute. The room and his shirt are a hot mess. I was sick pregnant and we were in the middle of packing. That is probably the reason I didn't post it before. But who cares about that when your little guy is this precious.
When my brother and I were little my Dad would tape record us. He would say, "Testing, testing. One-two-three." Then he would ask us questions about what was going on in our lives. I assume it was to remember Brendan's sweet little voice describing our trip to Sea World when he said, "And the mama whale...the mama whale...Ouch! She's pinching me and the mama whale came up and splashed."
Asher has already changed so much in the four months since this was taken. I don't want to forget him like this.
Our big helper. Such a first born.
He came up with this impression on his own.
While potty training at Gigi's house he loved singing along with Koko.
I keep meaning to post these pics of the fence my dad built with help from Austin and Dan Terry. These were taken with my dad's phone. So grateful for all the hard work that went into this to keep my boys safe.
Please ignore all of the wild bushes we have already dug them out and are hard at work planning a vegetable garden.
Wyatt had his two month doc check up on June 1. My parents and sister came with me. Thank goodness they did because it was also Asher's three year check up and I couldn't have wrestled with both of them by myself.
Wyatt is quite the growing boy at 13 lbs 12 oz and 23 inches long. He's a chunk! We like it that way. I think this "crabby but cute" shirt is ironic considering that baby Wi-Fi is such a sweet boy. Almost never crabby. But I love this red orange color on him and I think the crab butt is adorable!
Additional two month facts:
Mama is still doing mounds of laundry since he is a spitter
For five days in a row Wyatt has slept 7 1/2 hours straight
Nearly busting out of his 3-6 month size clothing
Loves to sleep. Takes 4-5 naps a day.
Such a cuddle bug. Snuggling is such a joy with this one.
Takes a pacy every now and then.
Has a cute shy smile.
Such a good baby.
And here are some more pics from my phone as of late.
Our family came to visit and party before the blessing. The food was excellent as well as the company. We love for Asher to spend time with his cousins. The weather was fabulous for June. Thank you all for celebrating this special time in our lives.
"If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disapear all too soon and that you will - to your suprise - miss them profoundly."
