Baby Wyatt is here!

Wyatt Austin Cone

Born 11 days early! 

Asher was due March 31 and born on April 11. Wyatt was due April 11 and born on March 31:)

I went into labor earlier that afternoon. While we were out with Stacey she started to get concerned because I was in pain. I went home and tried to nap. That didn't go so well. So I got in the shower and braced myself until the hot water ran out. I called my mom and she started timing since Austin was at work. I called him on a conference phone because his cell doesn't get coverage at the plant. He was in a room with some of the big guys and they heard me say "They're coming every three minutes and they hurt like hell." After a good laugh he rushed home to take me to the hospital. 

The delivery was quick and performed by Dr. Brody. We were very excited to have this little one come early. Because I never went into labor on my own with Asher I somewhat fantasized what that would be like. Well, I got my wish with this one and it hurts. That's all that can be said about it.

Wyatt received a full bill of health and was placed in the room with us right away. He has a great latch and was eats vigorously. We are so in love with him!

First Pony Ride

Asher and I met our friends Stacey and Annalise to visit a petting zoo set up outside of the Greenlife complex. Asher loved it.

Our new house! Our real estate agent was able to find us this beauty and make sure we closed just in time to prepare for our upcoming addition. Signal Mountain is a peaceful community with some of the best schools in the area.  We enjoy living across from Norris Field and having a backyard for Asher.

Run Run Rudolph

After looking back at last year's Christmas post I am excited to post this one.

2011 has been a great year for us, filled with good times and quite a bit of happiness.

For us it can be described in Luke 6:19 "And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all." The Lord works mighty miracles and He has done so for us.



Asher's second year has been adventurous. Just last week he ran into a pile of wood and now has a huge gash in his face. Praise Jesus it was the day after these pics were taken. haha.





We are expecting our second boy in April. The house is going to be wild!





Austin still very much enjoys his job. It might be because of all the cars we get ;)



Austin and I have had several Volkswagen vehicles this year. It's so fun. The line up included a Golf, Jetta, Passat (winner of the 2012 Motor Trend Car of the Year Award!), CC, Routan, and soon you can spot me in the small SUV Tiguan.







We sure do love all of you and wish you a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
